Hotel Charley 4

The RPP will be hosting Hotel Charley 4: At Your Own Risk at Melody Hall in Bellingham. Filmmakers and kayakers Ben Stookesberry and Jesse Coombs will be on hand to present this film showcasing their expeditions to Pakistan, Brazil, and the US. All proceeds from the event will be donated to American Whitewater.

This is the fourth year in a row that we’ve chosen to show a Hotel Charley film for our annual event, and the reason is that these films have always featured stunning footage, jaw-dropping whitewater, and offer a taste of what it is like to be on an expedition to some of the most remote and challenging rivers on earth. Ben and Jesse were recently named finalists for the 2007 National Geographic Adventurer of the Year Award, and their films show why. We’ll be raffling off tons of great gear, so we hope that you’ll come on out to support a great cause, meet some local boaters, and hopefully take home some free schwag!

WHEN: Friday, May 1st. Doors open at 6, film starts at 7.
COST: $5 for the general public, $4 for students with ID.
