Hotel Charley 4: At Your Own Risk Premiere
Posted by Eric on April 20, 2009 at 12:38 pm | In Movies, Announcements |Bellingham Whitewater is proud to bring you the Bellingham premiere of ‘Hotel Charley 4: At Your Own Risk’ on Friday, May 1st at Melody Hall in Bellingham. Ben Stookesberry and Jesse Coombs, finalists for National Geographic Adventure’s 2007 Adventurer of the Year award, will be on hand to present their latest film, in which they travel throughout Pakistan, Brazil, and the USA in search of some of the most remote and exciting whitewater on the planet.
Check out the trailers. The first is a teaser featuring drops in Brazil and Pakistan.
The second trailer is a bit longer and features huge water on the Indus River, Pakistan (be sure click on the ‘HQ’ button for better quality).
It’s just $5 to get in ($4 if you’re a student). We’ll have a salsa bar from Bandito’s Burritos (free!), and lots of outdoor and paddling gear to raffle off, including a shiny new Lendal paddle! All proceeds from the event will be donated to American Whitewater to help them promote river access and stewardship.
